# 4 "The Reminiscent of my Tito"

I do believe that dead communicate with living people. Though I did not really experience that kind of scenario that someone communicate me but my cousin who just passed away several years ago did.
I had a cousin from my hometown that was just very beautiful inside and out. Their family was just rich and popular in our place. She was the youngest among the 4 siblings of my Auntie. She's a little bit older than me and she's a well mannered and intelligent lady.
When she finished high school, her mother decided to sent her to Misamis University to take nursing which is very far from our hometown. Though she really wants to take up BSHRM but her mother did not allow her. And it’s just making her more disappointed.
She felt sad for it and got homesick from that far place. After a month there she became ill and it is a kind of illness that triggers the way she thinks. All of us felt very sorry and sad for her about what happen. So her mother decided to bring her back home for proper medication.
So weeks later, we all thought that her strength came back and she is finally cured. One night when my other Auntie and my cousin were watching TV my cousin said, "Te, Uncle Sammy is here and sitting at his favorite place, in the staircase." So my Auntie felt scared that time because my Uncle Sammy is already dead.
We got worried again about what happened because they say that when a dead person appeared to a living person they will get it.
My cousin and her mother have really no good communication because her mother has sometimes bad attitudes. Her mother is always counting for she has given to my cousin.
A month after my Uncle Sammy appeared my cousin commit suicide. We were all bothered about what happened because when she's still in the hospital after she drank "muriatic acid" she didn't even told us or gave us clue why she did that thing. 24 hours pass she died.
That's why I do believe that there is communication between dead and living.

#3 "I stop to say Thank you to My Mama”

A strong relationship to our parents, guardians and peers are very important but the essence of respecting them is nearly gone. A lot of people now forget to give respect to their mother, father and even to their grandparents. They forget to render their kisses and hug to them. For me every day is a gift that’s why I treasure every time I am with my mother, I always give her my hug and when we are together with hold each other’s hand. We are like friends and we share each of our companion. I always thank her for the things she gave to me.

As for now I am considering myself a small flower that will suddenly gloom. I am pursuing to finish my studies and I want them to be proud of me. I want to have a bachelor’s degree so that I can help them 10 years from now and I can give them my first salary. But I think all of that are useless if my respect will be gone. I will still render my kisses and hugs to them as a sign of my great devotion and love to them. I will not stop to say thank you to them for raising me and giving me education.

Words are useless if you don’t make the things you promised to do. So by this time I will not just say “thank you” but I will do everything that will make them happy and be proud of me.
Critical thinking...the awakening of the intellect to the study of itself.

 Base on my research
A statement by Michael Scriven & Richard Paul for the
{presented at the 8th Annual International Conference on Critical Thinking and Education Reform, Summer 1987}.
Critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action. In its exemplary form, it is based on universal intellectual values that transcend subject matter divisions: clarity, accuracy, precision, consistency, relevance, sound evidence, good reasons, depth, breadth, and fairness.
For me being a student is a big priority and responsibility. Once a student open his/her mind in discussion it really needs a critical thinking so that he/she could easily get the main point or the central idea of what he/ she is reading.I can say that I am a critical thinker because when I read a book I usually read it twice because I am not a speed analyzer and reading it twice will help me to understand well the scenario or  text. When I encountered difficult and unfamiliar word I used to consult dictionary so that I can relate with what I am reading.
In writing I also develop my critical thinking  because when I am making an article like essay or making poems, I always look for the correct grammar and apply it so that it will not look like dull.
